60% cacao, 2oz dark milk chocolate bar. This chocolate bar is sprinkled with a layer of roasted cacao nibs and coffee beans, the latter grown on Waialua Estate. They make chocolate bean-to-bar by their hand at their factory in Kailua. Cacao is supplied by Hawaiian farmers in Hamakua (Big Island), Waiahole, Maunawili and Haiku (Windward Oahu). Chocolate-making is an emerging industry in Hawaii, thus local bean supply will be limited until more farmers catch on. So they also source from Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Madagascar and Liberia. The taste of cacao varies with the location where it is grown.
